About Dr. Bovenizer

Dr. Todd S. Bovenizer loves orthodontics and is recognized by his peers as a leader in the field.  He was certified by the American Board of Orthodontics in 2006 and re-certified by taking another optional clinical exam in 2010.  He serves as a Director for the NC Association of Orthodontists and is on the adjunct faculty with the UNC School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill.  Dr. Bo is also a contributing editor for the Southern Association News.  His practice was selected as a test site for practice management software and has also been recognized to participate in clinical studies with other orthodontists around the country to test new products.  He has been recognized and invited to join very select groups compromised of elite orthodontists from across the nation who are working together to study the latest advancements in the orthodontic field.  Additionally, he is a member of the College of American Board of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Southern Association of Orthodontists, North Carolina Association of Orthodontists, and the Southern Wake Dental Institute.  These accomplishments and opportunities ensure the most technologically advanced treatment planning and design for his patients.

Dr. Bo is very involved in the local community; you may see him around town or at the front doors of Colonial Baptist Church.  He is blessed with a loving wife, Megan, and two beautiful daughters, Caroline and Ella Kate.  The can often be found playing soccer, tennis, wake-boarding or going to the beach together.
