Barbara is a Raleigh native and came to work for Dr. Bo in August 2007. She has experience in both the medical and dental fields, including almost six years in orthodontics. Barbara is married and has three daughters and one precious granddaughter. She enjoys cooking, spending time together with family and friends, taking long walks with her husband and their two dogs and going to the beach.
Deetsy Ellis
Certified Dental Assistant
Deetsy joined Dr. Bo’s office in September 2007 as a certified dental assistant. She has enjoyed getting back into the dental field after being a stay at home mom. She has thirteen years of dental experience. Deetsy has a daughter who is in college at UNC and a son who is a local chef.
Alana Gerdes
Dental Assistant
Alana joined Dr. Bo in December, 2008. She has moved around quite a bit and is now happy to have settled in Cary! She has been working in the orthodontic field for almost six years. She is married and has a daughter in elementary school. When she is not working, she enjoys running and spending time with her family.

Suzie has been with Dr. Bo sine February of 2010. She has been in the orthodontic field for four years. She and her husband have three grown kids and a dog. During Suzie's free time she likes to bake and cook and take any chance she can to get to the beach.
Ellyn Flagg
Dental Assistant
Ellyn moved from the Atlanta area where she lived for seven years and joined Dr. Bo in March of 2010. Ellyn considers Raleigh home having previously lived here for 15 years. Ellyn has been in the orthodontic field for twelve years and has experience in all aspects of it. In her spare time she enjoys time with friends and family, cooking, backpacking and more recently has taken interest in sailing thanks to her best friend.
