BOARD CERTIFIED

Once graduating from an orthodontic program, orthodontists may choose to take additional testing in order to become Board Certified. Board Certification is not required to practice orthodontics or to identify oneself as an Orthodontic Specialist. Therefore only about 25% of Orthodontists ever achieve Board Certification from the American Board of Orthodontics. Board Certification by the American Board of Orthodontics represents the highest level of academic achievement an Orthodontist can attain. Dr. Bo obtained his Board Certificate in May of 2006 and has chosen a track that will continue to test his knowledge by recertifying every few years. He will travel to Texas to again take another test in 2011.
